Final Performance Day

We complete our week of camp on Saturday with a final performance for family and friends, showcasing the talents and week’s accomplishments of each camper through music, theater, and dance performances and an outdoor gallery of art, photography, and video productions. Parents and the public come to enjoy the performance and visual arts displayed by the campers, with campers heading home after the afternoon program.

Session One, Saturday, July 12
Session Two, Saturday, July 19

On the final day of camp, campers present what they have learned during the week to friends and family in a final concert performance, art gallery & video display.

Please Note:
Participation in all rehearsals and the final (Saturday) performance is required for campers enrolled in performance majors. Performance majors include all Band sections, A Cappella, Vocal Ensemble, Dance, and Theater.

Campers must be committed to the entire camp session.

Sugarloaf Camp is a limited enrollment performing arts camp; the final performance is vital to the camp experience. Therefore, any camper that leaves camp early and does not perform in the Saturday performance will be disqualified from attending Sugarloaf Camp for the following year.

Performance Schedule

9:00 am-10:00 am: Parents & families arrive for the performance.

10:00 am-12:00 pm: Artwork, Photography, & Video galleries open.

10:00 am-12:00 pm: Band, Chorale, Dance, Theater Arts performances & Award presentations.

Remember to bring your lawn chairs, hats, and sunblock!

All campers, including photo, video, and art students, are asked to stay for the entire performance.

Our camp sessions may produce your most creative growth of the year, and this opportunity to be recognized for your work and to bring closure to your camp experience is invaluable. We ask that Textile artists, Visual Artists, and Photography students not take down your artwork until the completion of the final program. We will not be storing any artwork, photography, or craft projects. All artwork must be taken home from camp.
