Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp offers an exciting range of programs designed to spark creativity and provide a well-rounded arts experience. Each camper chooses a primary focus, or “Major,” for the week and also gets to explore other creative areas through an “Elective” class (except for those in Photography or Video).
Every day, campers enjoy two sessions in their Major and one session in their Elective, all set in the forest surroundings of majestic Ponderosa Pines. Most classes are held outdoors, making the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains a part of the experience.
Led by talented and passionate teachers, the Major and Elective programs help students discover their artistic potential while having plenty of fun. Most of our Major and Elective classes are available during both summer sessions, with more details on Majors and Electives provided in the program descriptions.
