Vocal Arts

Singing is the voice of the unheard soul.

Kat, Instructor

The Vocal Arts major is offered both Session 1 & Session 2.

An ancient art meets the modern era in our Vocal Arts program blending harmony & rhythms in old & new styles to provide an interactive experience that campers love.

The Vocal Ensemble begins with traditional vocal training and works within a chorale structure to learn classical and modern pieces.

Campers enrolled in Vocal Ensemble should also select an elective outside of the Vocal Arts.

Please bring appropriate clothes for the final performance. Examples are t-shirt or blouse without writing or logos (Sugarloaf t-shirt is acceptable), dress, skirts, pants.

Applicants should have a strong love for singing and should preferably have some group singing experience (choir or musicals) or have played an instrument for two or more years in band. Please list your past singing experience as well as any instruments you play on your application form. We might incorporate any extra skills into our work together.
